This program is designed for new parents with children under the age of 6. This parenting program provides parents with the opportunity to learn about the basics of parenting including parent self-awareness and self esteem; child health and safety; discipline and praise; and healthy child development. This program can be offered through group, couple, or individual sessions.
This program provides an approach to parenting children that aims to promote children’s development and manage children’s behavior in a constructive and non hurtful way. This program is based on the use of good communication and positive attention to help children develop. Program is offered to parents of children aged 0 – 12. Discussions focus on ways to strengthen parent child relationships, encourage desirable behavior, teach children new behaviors and skills, and managing misbehavior. This program can be offered through group, couple, or individual sessions.
These workshops are offered throughout the year on topics brought forward by families. These workshops often involve bringing in outside partners or experts. Occasionally these workshops turn into a longer program where a certificate can be received for participation.
