OUTREACH CENTRE

We believe that strong, healthy families are the heartbeat of our community, and all kids deserve to be connected to meaningful recreation, leisure, art, and play opportunities.

We recognize that many families face economic and social barriers to these opportunities, and Recreation Opportunities for Kids (ROK) Central Inc. was born. 

Upon attaining charitable status in 2015, ROK Central began working with families to get their children involved in activities such as football, swimming, dance, and art classes. 

By 2021, ROK Central had grown to offer programs and resources on mental, emotional, and personal health and well-being. Our programming also reinforces the importance of community, culture, and of course sport, recreation, and leisure activity!

In October 2022, ROK Central amalgamated with the Family Resource Centre in order to provide even more programs and services for the families within the community. With the amalgamation, the ROK Central Site became the FRC Outreach Centre, located at 13 - 545 11th St NW, Portage.

The Outreach Centre is located in the heart of our community to best serve and help our local families!
