Parent Child Programs:

  Come and create with us outdoors! This program will introduce your littles to different kinds of creative activity, such as painting, music, and dance. (Ages 18 months+)

An interactive program connecting parents to their babies through play, music, touch, and knowledge about development. Join the group most appropriate to your baby’s motor skills: Newborn – 0 to sitting unsupported (approx. 6 months); or Babies – sitting to taking first steps (approx. 6 months +). Childcare provided for older children.

A language development program for parents and their children (age 18 months - 6 years) focusing on speech, movement, songs, and attention span. Facilitated by a Program Coordinator, with direction from a Speech & Language Pathologist in partnership with Portage la Prairie School Division. 

This program is offered throughout the year and is designed for ages 4-6. The program’s focus will vary from week to week but aims to ensure children are exposed to key learning fundamentals to ensure they are ready to start school. A 4-week intensive program is offered in the summer months as well.

Take a closer look at the outdoors! This program focuses on the natural world all around us, from the sky, to animals, to the trees. (Ages 2-6)

This program encourages dads to come out with the kids (ages 1-6) for some interactive activities, stories, crafts, and a snack.

This program is designed to help toddlers (ages 2-5) identify and learn to manage their emotions. It also features puppet Peter and puppet Shelley.

Explore the world of rhythm and rhyme with music and songs for toddlers! This program focuses on musical exploration, as children experiment with different instruments. (Ages 6 months-3 years) 

 Learn what it means to be a caring human being by learning about the wonderful people and places in our community! (Ages 18 months +).   

Enjoy the fresh air and warm weather with us! We will host this program at different parks over the summer, so join us to play fun games across town! (Ages 18 months +)
